A Working Knowledge
Short guides to things worth knowing well, written by doctors who do.
From the editors
Doctors are used to knowing a great deal about a narrow thing. These guides go the other way: enough about coffee, clothes, books or tools to choose well and enjoy them more, without making them another field to master.
Each is written by a doctor with a genuine knowledge of the subject, reviewed against its sources, and dated so you know how fresh it is. Nothing is in a guide because someone paid for it to be.
